Special Events

Veteran's Day

November 11th - Cardwell will be honoring veterans in the community by hosting a concert. The students have prepared songs, poems, art and essays to share their appreciation and celebrate all veterans.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Tuesday, November 23rd - Dinners will be delivered this year by students.

Christmas Concert

Wednesday, December 15th - Students will sing and play instruments to holiday songs and there just might be a visit from a special somebody after the concert.

County Spelling Bee

Wednesday, February 9th - Students that qualify from the Cardwell Spelling Bee get to attend the County Spelling Bee to compete.

Donuts for Dads

Monday, March 14th - Community members who are father figures to students can come out to celebrate with a donut and enter a contest for best March Madness basketball bracket.

Ice Cream Social

Tuesday, March 29th - Students, families and community memembers can come out for ice cream and a meeting about switching from a traditional calendar to a 4-Day School Week for next school year.

Egg Hunt

Wednesday, April 6th - Families can come watch students hunt for eggs around the school yard in the, hopefully, nice weather!

Spring Concert

Wednesday, April 20th - Students will sing and play instruments to springtime songs that showcase what they have been studying in music class.

Muffins for Moms

Thursday, May 5th - Mother figures and grandmothers are encouraged to come out to celebrate Mother's Day with muffins, special time with students, and enjoy a beautiful song sung by the whole school.

Track Meets

Wednesday, May 11th and May 18th - Students will be going to Willow Creek and Harrison to compete in Track Meet events. Come out and support your track star!

Declamation

Friday, May 13th - Families and community members are encouraged to come out to hear students recite poems from memory and compete for best poem.

8th Grade Graduation

Thursday, May 26th - Eighth Grade students will celebrate their accomplishments and participate in the ceremony of graduation.

Last Day of School BBQ

Friday, May 27th - Come out to celebrate the end of a wonderful school year with waterballoon fights, the candy cannon, the BBQ, and summer fun!
