Curriculum

Curriculum

To teach Reading and English Language Arts for Kindergarten through 5th grade our school uses the Open Court Curriculum; grades 6th through 8th use Study Sync. To teach Math for Kindergarten through 8th grade, our school uses GO Math. All core subjects are aligned to the content standards.

Testing

To monitor student's growth in learning, our school does quarterly assessments using MAPS testing in the subject areas of Math, Reading, and Science and STAR testing in the subjects of Reading and Math. At the end of the school year students in grades 3rd through 8th take SBCAs in the subjects of Reading and Math and the 5th and 8th graders take one in science.
