Hello! My name is Seth Coombe and I have been teaching for 16 years. I started as a special education teacher and did that for 8 years before moving to kindergarten for the last 8 years here at the small rural school of Cardwell School in Montana. I am the Supervising Teacher at the school, teach PE, and the last two years I have also been teaching Running Start Kindergarten.
I have been married to my amazing husband Michael Coombe, who has taught at Cardwell School for 19 years. We have 4 children: Frank who is 21 and has a little boy named Hank (our first grandchild), Avrey who is 17 and a senior in high school, Gavyn who is 12, and Emalynn (Emy) who is 10. We also have a Mini-Aussie named Mocha.
I love the outdoors and am so blessed to live in such a beautiful state. I absolutely love to read, there is nothing like getting lost in a good book after a long day!
I love children and love to learn so I think that is why I became an educator. Children look at the work through fresh and innocent eyes. They see all the little things that we sometimes take for granted and I feel by teaching it has opened my eyes to the wonder that is our world. Each child that enters my room is an individual and I value them for who they are.
Thank you for sharing your children with me! Let’s have a great year 😊
